Qubic has disclosed a security incident involving its GitHub organization, following the compromise of an account that granted unauthorized access to code repositories and the extraction of cryptographic keys. The team confirmed it has identified the breach and is actively managing the situation.
In response, Qubic is urging all Network Guardian users to immediately rotate their mnemonic phrases to safeguard their assets. Additionally, users who accessed or unlocked the web wallet between 11:00 and 18:00 UTC are strongly advised to migrate to a new identity without delay.
Developers have been warned against pulling or deploying any code from Qubic’s repositories until an official announcement confirms that a comprehensive security audit has been completed.
The project stated that ongoing updates and detailed incident information will be shared exclusively through its official Discord channel. A full post-incident review report will be published once the response efforts conclude.
